I am Fernando Rodriguez. I'm a Designer.

My academic and professional background has been a blend of architecture, visualization, and data science, as I strive to bring ideas, narratives, spaces, emotions, and experiences to life through the fusion of art and technology. I earned a master's degree in architecture from Florida International University (FIU) in 2018 while working as an assistant at the Robotics and Digital Fabrication Lab (RDF) in the School of Architecture.

In 2019, I completed a post-professional degree in the Master of Arts in Architecture program at FIU, supported by a Graduate Researcher Fellowship from FIU’s NSF Center of Research Excellence in Science and Technology (CREST). During this period, I engaged in interdisciplinary work and connected various fields through a research project focused on data visualization for communicating ecological science. Additionally, I continued to work at the RDF Lab as a visualization specialist.

Following my degree, I held positions as a design manager at MSA Architects and as an adjunct professor at Florida International University's School of Architecture. Currently, I spend my days experimenting and exploring as a creative technologist at an esteemed creative agency known as Mad.
